We are thrilled to announce a wonderful lineup of concerts at the First Congregational Church of Danbury. Some of these performances are free, unless otherwise noted. For the free concerts, donations are warmly welcomed to support the participating music organizations.
Danbury Concert Chorus: A Celebration of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s 270 Birthday
Saturday October 24 — 4 – 5 pm
Danbury Concert Chorus presents a program that highlights both the familiar and the unexpected. From the joyful Regina Coeli and the serene Ave Verum Corpus to some of the most moving moments from his Requiem, the concert offers a glimpse into the remarkable genius of Mozart’s sacred music.
Featuring Regina Coeli, Tantum Ergo, Ave Verum Corpus, and selections from the Requiem—including Confutatis, Lacrimosa, Agnus Dei, and Communio (Lux Aeterna).
