We are open Fridays and Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Phone: 475-237-0702.

The thrift shop is located at 164 Deer Hill Avenue in Danbury. The entrance faces West Street behind the First Congregational Church. Please follow the signs.

Despite the thrifty prices, our volunteers give the shop the appearance of an upscale boutique. The atmosphere warm and friendly, reminiscent of the corner store where neighbors come in to visit and shop. The thrift shop is an outreach program of the First Congregational Church of Danbury.

Our thrift shop is packed with high-quality clothing, home goods, decorations, books, music, nik-naks, craft items and more. Some of it even have their original store tags! A few of the more unusual items we’ve sold are a crab cage, an authentic Chinese shoulder yoke complete with rice buckets, and even a real harpoon.

We accept donations of clothing, shoes and accessories during our regular business hours on Satudays. All donations must be clean and in good condition. Due to space constraints, we are unable to accept furniture, TVs, microwave ovens or computers.
